Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to provide support and assistance to the Consultants, ensuring the reports meet the leading industry standard for for PL, LOE, PPO and Settlement Assessment reports.
Key responsibilities
- Managing own workload and maintaining a high standard of work.
- Maintaining and updating data on Intelligent Office (CRM system) in line with agreed processes.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge to remain as industry leading standard.
- Understanding how to use relevant spreadsheets, cashflow system and PI calculator.
- Keep up to date with and retain record of knowledge provided by Expert Witness Specialists and Manager.
- Keep up to date with regulation and case law affecting the provision and methodology for PL, LOE, PPO, SA.
- Understanding relevant case law and how the rulings apply to our reports.
- Assist with any administrative tasks.
- Ensuring reports are produced in line with formatting specifications.
- Continuously learning the rules of different pension schemes in order to calculate the relevant pensions in reports.
- Keeping up to date with the revision of Ogden Tables.
- Understand the rules and application of taxation and national insurance.
Knowledge and experience
- Experience in using standard MS office software products including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience in Accounting, Pensions or Legal fields is preferable.
Skills and abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including legal representatives.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Have a key eye for detail and an exceptional level of accuracy when producing documents and inputting data.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex information.

Education and Training
- Excellent verbal and written communication and numeracy skills.
- English and Maths GCSE at C or above, or equivalent.
- Degree level or equivalent.
